The arrival of representatives from the International Medical Corps to our hospital marks a significant step toward improving medical care. A collaboration and assistance agreement has been signed with the Nemyriv Hospital.
Thanks to the International Medical Corps and its benefactors, we received a valuable piece of medical equipment: a laparoscopic tower.
This gesture has been a milestone in the history of the surgical department at Nemyriv City Hospital.
Last week, a laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) was performed on a 48-year-old resident of Nemyriv. The surgery was carried out by the hospital’s Medical Director, Yuriy Borysovych Palamar, and the Head of the Surgical Department, Illia Ivanovych Kryvonos, with consultation from the Head of the Department of Surgery, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Shaprynskyi from Vinnytsia National Medical University.
The anesthesiology block of the operation was managed by the Head of the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department, Olena Anatoliyivna Solomon, and the anesthesiologist, Valentyn Andriyovych Polupanov.
The patient is feeling well and was discharged on the second day after the surgery.
Congratulations, colleagues, on a successful surgical start!
We thank the International Medical Corps for their assistance!
Laparoscopic surgery is now operational at our Nemyriv City Hospital!
