Medical professionals, more than anyone, understand the consequences of this complex social issue. To inform the public about the importance of the problem, we suggest familiarizing yourself with the manifestations of domestic violence, what to do if you are a victim, and how to provide support in a difficult life situation.

We remind you that the fight against domestic violence involves the police, prosecution, social services, lawyers, psychologists, and medical professionals.

On November 28, a meeting of the Coordination Council on Family Issues, Social Support for the Families of Defenders, Integration of Internally Displaced Families (Persons), Gender Equality, Prevention of Domestic Violence, and Combating Human Trafficking was held at the Nemyriv City Council, with the participation of employees from the Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “Nemyriv City Hospital.”

A list of priority measures for providing assistance to victims of domestic violence has been determined.
