📌 This is where the children of military personnel are born — in the maternity ward, it’s common to see soldiers in camouflage beside their wives. Some special moments this year: ▪️ Heroes of Ukraine Dmytro Todorov and Yevhen Palchenko became fathers at this hospital. ▪️ The band Tvorchi, together with the United24 platform, donated a modern incubator for newborns to the hospital (only 12 hospitals in Ukraine received such support). ▪️ All newborns and their mothers in the maternity ward were greeted and gifted baby boxes — ensuring that each mother feels the care of the state from the very first moments of her child’s life.
🏅 Based on my recommendation, Certificates of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine were awarded to: • Olena Palamar, Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department • Oleksandr Khomenko, Head of the Traumatology Department • Vasyl Zhmut, Head of the Radiology Department
👩⚕️ The hospital employs 362 medical workers, 78% of whom hold the highest qualification categories. This year, seven medical interns chose this hospital to begin their careers — in surgery and therapy. This is a clear sign that the youth believe in the development and future of this institution.
🌿 Real miracles happen here: A patient brought in bedridden to the palliative care unit was able to walk out on a walker after just three weeks.
🦠 In May of this year, doctors detected a rare case of tropical malaria — the first in many years, brought from Africa. Thanks to the professionalism of Olha Yevtushok, Head of the Infectious Diseases Department, the attentiveness of the lab technicians, and the coordinated efforts of the team, the disease was diagnosed in time, care was provided, and the patient’s health was preserved.
🚑 When Vitalii Ostapenko was injured in a “Shahed” drone attack in Nemyriv, it was the professionalism of the doctors that saved not only his life — but even his leg.
‼️ However, the hospital is in urgent need of new diagnostic equipment. I am taking this issue under my personal supervision. We discussed the existing problems and will work together to resolve them.
