The Surgical Department of Nemyriv City Hospital is located on the fourth floor of the hospital's stationary block. It is equipped with facilities for both scheduled and emergency surgeries, including modern operating tables, laparoscopic equipment, cardiomonitors, ventilators, clean and septic dressing rooms, and two procedural rooms.
The department has a capacity of 20 beds and provides a full range of therapeutic, diagnostic, and preventive care for patients with surgical, urological, and proctological conditions.
The Surgical Department offers scheduled and emergency surgical services to residents of Nemyriv District, Vinnytsia Oblast, and other regions of Ukraine.
Staffing includes a surgeon on duty around the clock, as well as a middle medical surgical sister, middle medical ward sister, junior medical surgical sister, and junior ward sister. The department employs 5 surgeons, 1 urologist, 4 middle ward sisters, 1 middle dressing sister, 5 middle surgical sisters, and 5 junior ward sisters.
The department's doctors and nurses are highly qualified professionals with extensive experience who continuously upgrade their skills and knowledge. They approach patient care with attention and discipline, ensuring the highest standards of service.

Modern surgical treatment methods implemented in the department include:
- Minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques
- Laparoscopic surgeries for gallstone disease, acute appendicitis, and diagnostic laparoscopy
- Endoscopic hemostasis
- Use of allografts in the treatment of various types of abdominal wall hernias
- Diagnostic cystoscopy
- NPTW therapy (Negative Pressure Wound Therapy), which significantly accelerates wound healing by stimulating healing processes and maintaining constant wound cleansing.
