Alexander Hryhorovych Homenko is the head of the traumatology department and a first-category orthopedic trauma surgeon. He graduated from M.I. Pirogov Vinnytsia National Medical University in 2003.
He has completed specialization courses at the following institutions:
National University of Health of Ukraine named after P.L. Shupyk, in Surgical Treatment of Complicated Wounds.
Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Education, International Humanitarian University, in Organization of Service Provision (Palliative Care) in Healthcare Facilities.
Alexander is a member of the Association of Orthopedic Traumatologists of Vinnytsia region and participates in the National Program “Save the Limb”.
He provides outpatient consultations specializing in acute trauma and acute chronic disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Alexander employs various inpatient treatment methods for trauma, including simultaneous closed reduction of fractures, skeletal traction, reduction of dislocations in different joints, treatment of burn injuries, frostbite, wounds, and tendon injuries.
His surgical expertise includes operative treatment of diaphyseal bone fractures (excluding pelvic bones and skull), negative pressure wound therapy (VAC therapy), autodermatoplasty using free skin flaps for skin defects, PRP therapy, hyaluronic acid injections, and ozone therapy for degenerative joint diseases.
